Later on in the season than usual, The FA have finally notified the new Level 3 referees with confirmation of their promotions.

Wirral RA are pleased to announce that Mark Cunliffe and Peter Gibbons have been selected for promotion for season 2011/2012.

Level 3 referees referee on the Contrib Leagues and run the line on Panel Leagues.

Contrib Leagues include 'Evo-Stik' Premier and Division One and also the 'Vodkat' North West Counties Premier Division along with the Premier League U18 League.

Panel Leagues include the Conference Premier, North and South and the FA Premier League Reserves and Football League Reserve Leagues.

We now await to hear of further promotions of our Level 3's to the newly formed Level 2b which are expected to be announced shortly.

Hi All, sorry but I won't be at the meeting on Thursday.

I am flying out to Nice on Thursday morning and running the Nice half marathon on Sunday.

Hope the meeting goes well and I will hopefully be at the May meeting.

Should any of the finalists require supplies I will be home next Tuesday evening and they can reach me on 327 5416.

Quiz Master Steve Jones has prepared an entertaining evening for us so I hope to see as many of you there as possible.

Steve Copeland has been appointed to referee this years Cheshire Sunday Cup Final.

The final will be played between Cale Green and Rudheath Social Club at Vauxhalls on Sunday 1st May with a 3pm kick off.

Steve will be assisted by Chris Behn and Pete Gibbons. Gareth Hughes will act as 4th official.
