Wirral Level 4 Referees Peter Gibbons and Danny Hitchell have completed their appointment to the INAS-FID European Championships where they acted as Assistant Referees.

They completed 4 and 3 games respectively and were selected to run the line on the Semi-Final game between Holland and Hungary. They also ran the line for the England v Portugal Group game.

They finished off with an appointment to a play off game between Sweden and France.

The winners of the tournament were Holland, who beat England in the final held at Boundary Park, the home of Oldham FC
